UK PlayStation magazine PSM3 had to say that Modern Warfare 3 will be officially announced in mid-April. While still a rumor that date matches the table when the announcement of Call of Duty: Black Ops of Activison revealed last year on 30 April.
PSM3 further added:
This title speculated to be a prequel starring the "Ghost" fan favorite characters. With Battlefield 3 is also on the road it will be tough competition for Modern Warfare 3 in the FPS genre.
