After waiting long enough, the Rockstar Studios finally confirmed rumors that circulated during this, that one of their flagship game, Red Dead Redemption will be released on PC.
Jonathan Mops, Public Relations from the Rockstar studios say that the PC version of Red Dead Redemption is not just ported from the console, but rather a refinement of previous versions. Among these improvements, Jonathan says that Red Dead Redemption will be fully supports DX11 as well as 3D technology. Not only that, the developer also promises some other enhancements such as new characters as well as varying types of weapons.
Rocstars Party also said that they have perfected the multiplayer mode in this game to be optimized on the PC, with a better server support, and modes are more varied, including support for dedicated servers. There has been no confirmation of what the price of this PC version, but the Rockstar said that Red Dead Redemption PC version will be released on August 17, 2011.
